This course is designed for students to learn how to develop interesting and dynamic characters while being a member of an ensemble. The class is offered by invitation only for those cast in an ensemble role in the YPT production of Tuck Everlasting.

Classes will be held from 5:00 to 6:00 PM on:

Instructor Bio: Samantha Stavely is the Artistic Director of Young People’s Theatre at SCC,
where she has been a staff member since 2017. She received her BA in Arts Management with an emphasis in Theatre and her MAT in Speech and Theatre Education from Lindenwood University. As Artistic Director of Young People’s Theatre, Samantha works with youth ages 8-19 to learn all aspects of theatre and perform high-quality productions. Young People’s Theatre has been nominated for over twenty awards from Arts for Life and continues to be one of the leading performance groups for youth in the area. In addition to working as Artistic Director, Samantha is in charge of the Young Artist Training Program at SCC, where she programs classes and workshops to educate students on acting, singing, and dancing. Samantha resides in Chesterfield and when she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their Goldendoodle.
